GMR Aero Technic operates a DGCA-, EASA- and FAA-approved airframe MRO on the airport with wide-body, narrow-body and paint hangars, doing heavy checks on the A320 family, B737NG, ATR and Q400 — the aircraft types most Indian AMEs are licensed on. AIESL also lists Hyderabad among its base stations. That combination of heavy-maintenance employers on one field is rare in India.
IndiGo runs a major base at Hyderabad and Air India group carriers station crew and airport staff here. Apply through the airlines' central recruitment; Hyderabad is regularly offered as a base for both flight and cabin crew in the southern network.
